Directions
Drive straight through Hermanus towards Stanford on the R43 (about 20 mins from Hermanus to Stanford).
Take the first exit at the circle when you reach Stanford onto the R326 and travel approx. 5 km until you see the Papiesvlei / Elim sign.
Turn right onto the gravel and drive for approx. 800m, turn right (1st farm on the right) Drive slowly down the track until you see the KLEIN MODDER SIGN ON THE LEFT.
Key Arrangements and General Info
The cottage will be ready and unlocked from 2pm with the key inside.
We will provide a complimentary supply of 2 bags of wood for the braai, fireplace and hot tub on the premises. More wood can be ordered from us prior to arrival @R35 a bag or you are welcome to bring your own.
Loadshedding Notice:
We have a Loadshedding schedule for this area available here.
While we’ve got rechargeable lightbulbs installed indoors, we kindly request you to bring your torches and solar lamps for outdoor lighting or as a backup. This way, you’ll have reliable lighting at your disposal, regardless of the stage of loadshedding we may encounter. Your preparedness is greatly appreciated!
Please note, our farm’s water is sourced from a natural spring that supplies several farms in our area. While it is perfectly safe to drink, we provide 25 litres of clear Stanford water for the convenience of guests who may prefer an alternative.
For your peace of mind and enjoyment, the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and refilled on the day of your arrival.
For small everyday shopping, there is an OK minimart, a Tops liquor store, ATMs and a filling station in Stanford.
The Little Farmhouse offers both cellphone reception and Wi-Fi connectivity.

When you check out, please make sure all the windows and doors are closed and leave the key inside.
