Our stay at Lagoon View was wonderfully relaxing and restorative. Its setting in a natural environment largely free of the stresses and strains of town living, apart from the water enthusiasts enjoying the lagoon but adding to the tranquil setting, is what allowed us to destress and simply be – sitting on the stoep and taking in the spectacular views, mainly the lagoon and vegetated dune landscape beyond, but also the Kleinriver mountains looming up behind the house; listening to an array of animals (including birds, peacocks, sheep & chickens!); and breathing the fresh country air. Dawns are especially vivid, vibrant and fresh. The house itself is very comfortably furnished, centred around an open plan lounge/ dining table and kitchen, leading onto the stoep where most of your time will be spent.
